Insight Subluxation Station
At Connected Family Chiropractic, we use advanced diagnostic technology that scans your spine and delivers an image of the stress and tension in your nervous system. The scans are completely painless, non-invasive, and safe on children of all ages - even infants. We run three different scans to assess how your nervous system is functioning:
Heart Rate Variability
Heart rate variability analyzes the beat-to-beat variation in heart rate. Changes and variations in heart rate occur due to a number of different physiologic phenomena, including breathing and nervous system activity. This test captures the essence of a patient's level of adaptability to everyday stressors (physical, emotional, chemical, and/or spiritual) along with their capacity for stress management.
Surface Electromyography measures the efficiency and distribution of energy in the neuromusculature system. Subluxations disturb the function of the nervous system and can create unwanted imbalances. Areas of increased energetic activity are just as important to note as areas with low or no energetic activity. These imbalances show which areas of your spine and nervous system are being affected and need extra attention.
The thermal scan measures temperature differences of the spine from right to left, and the body's ability to regulate that temperature. When there are disturbances to your nervous system, there are often temperature differences from side to side due to inflammation and changes in blood flow. The nervous system coordinates and controls every organ and system in the body, and any disturbances can affect the specific function of that related organ and/or system.
At your report, you’ll get to see your specific scans and learn what they mean. Our state-of-the-art software will take the results of your three scans and combine them into one simple score, the COREScore. Based on a scale from 0-100, the higher the number the less stress on your nervous system and your increased potential for health and wellness.
Because your care is based on the condition of your nervous system, not how you feel, this technology is the focal point of our practice.
